"Twilight" alum Billy Burke is a famous baseball star with a skeleton in his closet named Jake McCoy in the next episode of "Chicago P.D." season 4, "Skin in the Game."

In the episode, Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Officer Sorensen (guest star Kevin Kane) investigate his home after a complaint from a neighbor, which led to the discovery of the corpse of a 16-year-old named Maya Collins (guest star Violett Beane).

According to the synopsis for "Chicago P.D." season 4 episode 6, McCoy, who also happens to be friends with Olinsky (Elias Koteas), was helping the victim escape the sex trade.

Although he is responsible, it appears as though Olinsky will help him get away with the murder. In the promo for the upcoming episode, McCoy reminds him of the time he "made that DUI go away."

This suggests that he has something against the detective and that Olinsky is indebted with the criminal. In turn, he promised him he will get him out of this mess, putting his life and career on the line.

Voight (Jason Beghe) and Dawson (Jon Seda) would not want to make that happen, though, and will do their best to bring Maya's death to justice.

After leading the team to McCoy in "Chicago P.D." season 4 episode 6, Burgess, along with Sorensen once again, will then hunt down a cop with "a rocky past" turned thief.

It seems Burgess will continue to prove herself this season. After all, she is vying for a promotion, which is something that she might finally get.

Speaking to She Knows during the One Chicago Day event, executive producer Matt Olmstead revealed that this promotion storyline will be dealt with in the fall finale.

"We have this kind of double move where Antonio's going to ["Chicago Justice"], there's a spot open, and that's when Voight basically says, 'Welcome aboard.' So, she is going to be moving up to Intelligence," he went on to say.

That being said, fans will see Burgess more integrated to the team in the latter half of the season. For now, watch her deal with two separate criminals in "Chicago P.D." season 4 episode 6, "Skin in the Game," on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
