"Salvation," the final downloadable content for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," is at last headed to the Xbox One and PC now that the PlayStation 4 exclusivity is officially over.

The expansion pack will be available to the other two platforms starting Oct. 6 and will give players four new maps to explore. It will also come with the closing chapter of the Zombies mode.

Two of the maps — Outlaw and Rupture — included in the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC are remade versions of maps from older games.

Outlaw is a Western-style "rough and tough" remake of the Standoff map from "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2." It is the perfect setting for long and medium-range classic combat.

The second remake from the "Salvation" DLC is actually inspired from the Outskirts map from "Call of Duty: World at War." Rupture is the futuristic facility version of the beloved map.

The new maps coming to "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" via the DLC are Citadel and Micro. The former is a haunted and decrepit ancient castle which was once home to a powerful medieval army. The latter is a giant and a much deadlier version of a family picnic table, where players battle it out in between burgers, fries, and refreshments.

Finally, the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC will also put an end to the Zombies story that began in the base game and continued in the previous expansion packs. This chapter will be aptly called "Revelations."

The description reads: "The origins characters have taken an epic journey through space and time with all of their struggles leading to this very moment. In Revelations – the final chapter of the zombies experience – Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai finally come face-to-face with the mysterious doctor Monty in the house. Confronted by an ancient evil, our heroes must fight the zombie horde once more in the final battle to save their immortal souls."

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3: Salvation" is priced $14.99 and is included in the $50 Season Pass for the game.
