Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare download issues reported for Xbox One

Those who are planning to download Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare into their Xbox One consoles might have to wait a little further, after reports of unsatisfied players who have already attempted to get the earliest version of the game begin to circulate online.

A number of players have been airing their complaints on Reddit and other forums about downloading issues in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Day Zero edition in Xbox One Games Store.

The game has been available for pre-loading since November 3, yet the issues in downloading had already surfaced prior to the official launching on November 4.

The most common issue that players complained about is the sudden freezing of the download status at a certain percentage. Though others try to start the process all over again by restarting the Xbox One, they still go back to being stuck at a lower downloading percentage all the time.

Microsoft immediately acknowledged the issue, and they released a statement to help those who predownloaded the game.

"We've received reports that some users are having issues getting their preordered copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," the company stated on its Xbox Live support page earlier today. "We're happy to say that our team has fixed the problem, but if you are still experiencing any issues, delete the game and redownload it. Thanks for your patience while we got this issue worked out. Have fun!"

Also, the game's PlayStation 4 edition is also reported to be experiencing the same issues in the said console. Sony already released the tips on how to address the issue.

Meanwhile, Joystiq reported that a Zombie mode will be included in the season pass of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Aside from the Zombie gameplay, the season pass also comes with four multiplayer maps and the bonus Atlas Gorge map for $49.99. But for those who could not afford the season pass but would like to experience at least one multiplayer map, they have the option of buying individual packs for only $14.99.
