Pastor Brian Houston of the highly popular Hillsong Church in Australia is proud to announce the creation of Hillsong Channel, which hopes to provide a "front row seat and backstage pass to all that's happening at Hillsong around the globe."

The Hillsong Channel will be broadcast on the TBN Network and serve 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Several shows have been lined up, including "The Best of Hillsong Conference," "Worship By Hillsong," "The Sisterhood Stories," and "What Do You See?"

"God is so faithful, and we couldn't be more excited with the opportunity that is in front of us to simply be ourselves, stretch our capacity and enable the Good News of Jesus Christ to travel further and wider than we ever could take it on our own," Houston writes on their website.

He says the channel will impact millions of lives for Christ, and will champion local churches everywhere. "[This] isn't a substitute for Sunday services or the gathering of the saints, but resources pastors and parishioners alike every day of the week. A channel that brings the local church into the homes of those who have not yet 'come Home,'" says Houston.

He adds that the channel will encourage unity through diversity by showcasing different worship and communication styles. Even though the channel will cater to the masses, Houston assures viewers that it will still be a personal experience to watch their shows.

"I see a channel that is constantly pioneering: one that leads the industry in revolutionary communication of an ancient message through media, film and technology. A channel with a message beamed to people around the globe through their television screens, bringing JESUS into homes, palaces and prisons alike," he says. "A channel that is constantly looking towards the future – filled with a vision that inspires and influences many."
