Brad Bufanda news: 'Veronica Mars' actor dies aged 34 in apparent suicide

One of the cast members of the series "Veronica Mars" has committed suicide. American actor, Brad Bufanda, who played Felix Toombs in the television show, died at the age of 34 by his own hand. The tragic news was revealed in a statement by Bufanda's manager, Kirten Solem, wherein she expressed just how tragic the loss of the young man is.

In a report by Deadline, police reports stated that Bufanda had leapt to his death on the early hours of Nov. 1, Wednesday, and there were no signs of foul play. Bufanda's body was found by a transient at Fuller Avenue in the 300 block, Los Angeles, California.

His manager, Solem, stated in the press release that Bufanda was a "talented actor and a wonderful, caring human being." As she mentioned, the "Veronica Mars" actor was trying to get his career back on track, and has even been a part of two movies.

The loss of Bufanda was a completely unprecedented and tragic one for his friends and family. Also, the family has requested privacy in light of their loss. According to USA Today, Bufanda had even left behind a suicide note before he jumped from the building stating that he was very thankful for the people in his life.

The creator of "Veronica Mars," Rob Thomas, had sent out his condolences through his Twitter page, saying "I'm heartbroken to hear of Brad Bufanda's passing." Bufanda was even praised by Thomas for doing a good job while he was still part of the show between 2006 and 2009.

Bufanda has had numerous stints on television. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bufanda also appeared on high profile television shows like "CSI: Miami," "Malcolm in the Middle," "Days of Our Lives," "Even Stevens," and "Boston Public."

According to The Daily Mail, Bufanda had attempted to reach out to others in the past, since he was saddened by his declining career in the entertainment business. Additionally, there were also some hints that Bufanda could have been experiencing some health issues.
