Bow Wow, Erica Mena update: Wedding date around the corner

Despite the rumors that hounded "Love & Hip Hop: New York" stars Erica Mena and Bow Wow, their relationship is going strong. In fact, their wedding might really be pushing through come April this year.

Back in November 2014, Bow Wow posted a photo on Instagram and it was captioned: "The date is set. April 2015 #MRANDMRSMOSS." For the rapper, this showed that he isn't playing games with Erica and is indeed ready to take her down the aisle. However, back then, no one was really sure if the wedding would take place.

Fast forward two months later, Erica is now preparing for their wedding, so that means that it is pushing through. In Instagram, she posted a photo of a beautiful wedding dress and it was captioned: "Details." This led to an interview with Hip Hollywood, where Erica willingly divulged details about her wedding for the first time.

So what does Erica want exactly for her big day? She shared that she wants an "intimate ceremony" as this reflects the couple's personalities.

"I want it to be strictly friends and family. More importantly, I want us to enjoy the moment so much. I think with every single detail and everything we decide, it's definitely going to be an us thing. This is a big step in our lives," she said. "Thankfully, he has a lot of celebrity friends stuff so I'm sure my wedding party will be quite interesting."

She also confirmed that the wedding date will definitely be in April, saying, "We've definitely set a date and it's around the corner. It's a lot of work to do, actually. My publicists are dreading me right now."

How far along is Erica and Bow Wow with their wedding plans? Seeing that they only started recently, bride-to-be Erica admitted that they're still working things out right now.

"It's coming together," she said.

It is just a bit weird making the party full of celebrities an "intimate affair," but at least she made it clear that ex-boyfriend Rich Dollaz will be nowhere in sight. That should add to the solemnity of the celebration.
