Bow Wow and Erica Mena engagement photos revealed, Bow Wow says fiancee makes him a better person

Shane "Bow Wow" Moss and Erica Mena are headed for the altar. The rapper and VH1 reality star have already posed for their beautiful engagement photos, so it looks like the two are very serious about their relationship.

The couple got engaged in September 2014. Before Bow Wow proposed to Erica, they've already worked together several times. He told People that he has "known Erica for a long, long time," although at the time, they've been dating for only six months. The romantic connection, however, didn't happen instantly. The 27-year-old rapper shared that it was a process, but modern gadgets helped improve their daily communication.

"We noticed we had a lot in common and just took it day by day. You know how it goes, you text one day, then start texting every day," he said.

After dating for half-a-year, Bow Wow believed that Erica is the girl for him. He has high respect for her and looks up to her for the woman that she is.

"She's very smart, silly, knows how to hustle," Bow Wow said. "And she's electrifying. Anytime you have all of that in a woman, what more could you want?"

Clearly, he found the woman of his dreams as he didn't hesitate to pop the question with a 20-carat solitaire diamond ring. Erica had no hesitations in saying "yes" either.

As a popular rapper, Bow Wow had a reputation of being a player. Has he changed? He explained that the life of a player is already past him. While it was cool then, he doesn't want that to define him now. He also made it clear that he wants to change for the better, especially for 3-year-old daughter Shai. Bow Wow says that Erica has a big hand in helping him change.

As for the engagement photos, Erica took the lead and he just agreed to everything. They had a shoot in the Apple Valley desert in California.

Bow Wow believes that this relationship is "real genuine" and is already very excited for the wedding. The wedding date is set in June.
