Book of Acts inspires Share Jesus tour

Share Jesus International will be touring the nation to inspire and equip Christians in sharing their faith with friends, family and their wider community.

The Acts Now tour gets underway in October and will be stopping at nine towns and cities across England, including Sheffield and Liverpool.

It has been designed for Christians who want to learn more about sharing their faith with family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and communities.

As the name suggests, the inspiration behind the tour is the Book of Acts in the New Testament and how the early Christian church took off after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Share Jesus director Andy Frost will teach from Acts and share some of the inspiring stories of how people shared their faith in those early Christian days.

"As a Christian charity, we are passionate about communicating the gospel using models that are relevant to our ever changing culture," says SJI Director Andy Frost.

"SJI is passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus, and we're passionate about doing it through our local churches, so we hope lots of people will come to the tour and be inspired.

"I love reading the book of Acts and seeing the story of the early church and I believe that we, as a church today, are called to this exciting adventure of sharing and proclaiming who Jesus is."

Worship will be led by Tom Read, worship and creative director of the Vine Church in Hong Kong, and Ioannis Dekas, worship leader from Doxa Deo Church in London.

Marty Woods, Europe Director of Fusion, and Paul Griffiths (Ugly Duckling Company) will lead workshops on how churches can share the Gospel with their local community .
