Bobbi Kristina Brown latest update: still in coma, friends and family cling to prayers and miracles

Friends and family of Bobbi Kristina Brown are still waiting for the 22-year-old reality star to wake up from a medically-induced coma after she was found face down and unconscious in a bathtub in her home in Atlanta almost two months ago.

Brown was brought to Emory University Hospital in Georgia following the incident that happened on Jan. 31, but she was moved to a nearby facility where she will be tended long-term.

Weeks have passed and Brown's grandmother Cissy sees "not a great deal of hope." As she thanked her granddaughter's fans and supporters who are tirelessly praying for Brown's recovery, the distressed grandma said in an interview with WBLS FM that it is only God they are relying on.

Cissy said that they are praying fervently and added, "I give it to God one time because I know He's able. And I cannot change a thing. I'm asking everybody, just pray to the Lord who we know can do something about it."

However, it seems that Cissy, who has gone through the same with her daughter Whitney Houston, has accepted whatever fate will befall on her granddaughter.

"If He works a miracle, thank God. If it happens the other way, I'm alright," she said.

Earlier reports are claiming that Brown's family has contemplated on taking her off life support. Doctors also reportedly attempted to get her out of coma but she ended up suffering seizures.

On the other hand, Brown's godparent BeBe Winnans continues to hold on to miracles despite the situation being "very, very difficult."

"It's hard to even imagine, it really is," she revealed to The Inquisitr. "You know, Whitney, it's someone like my brother Ronald who passed — I think of her every day. And you just want the best for Bobbi Kristina, so we ask everyone to continue to pray that a miracle does happen, and that's what we need."

Meanwhile, authorities are looking into the case and suspects that Brown's situation may be a result of an attempted murder, suicide, or drug use. All the same, many believe there is foul play.
