Bobbi Kristina Brown condition update: Not 'brain dead' as Bobby Brown clears the rumors

Five days after having been found in a bathtub in her Georgia townhouse, Bobbi Kristina Brown is still fighting for her life with the help of a ventilating machine. Her family and friends continue to hope and pray that she'd get better and survive this ordeal.

The family has requested everyone to respect their privacy. As a result, there's very little update as to how Bobbi Kristina is doing.

A rumor has sparked that she is already taken off life support. Daily Mail was reportedly able to get a statement from a police source, saying, "The plug on Bobbi Kristina has been pulled."

However, not everyone instantly believed this rumor. Everyone knows how hard it has been for Bobbi Kristina's father, Bobby Brown, to accept what happened to his daughter with the late Whitney Houston.

On Feb. 6, Bobby went to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta to visit his daughter. It was also his birthday. Family and friends also paid the 21-year-old Bobbi Kristina a visit.

Access Hollywood was able to get a word from Bobby while he was outside the hospital. Access Hollywood's Stephanie Bauer asked how his daughter is doing.

"She's good. We're praying," Bobby answered.

Contrary to the rumor swirling, it appears that Bobbi Kristina is still on life support and her family remains supportive.

Investigations have already begun as to what happened. Authorities are checking every angle, but there's one question that remains hanging in the air.

When Bobbi was found face down in her tub, it was days after her mother Whitney Houston's biopic aired on Lifetime. Could this have affected her? It is ironic how Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious the same way her mother was — in a bathtub.

Meanwhile, the authorities have started questioning Bobbi Kristina's friends who were with her in the house that night. Max Lomas, who found her in the tub, is cooperating with the police. Boyfriend Nick Gordon, who administered CPR on Bobbi, is also being questioned. The police are also trying to look into the possibility of drug use, searching for eyewitnesses and looking into surveillance footages.
