Duck Dynasty's Sadie Robertson prom night just came and went, but her boyfriend Blake Coward had other commitments that night so Sadie was left without a prom date. Just who did the reality star end up choosing to accompany her to the special event?
On her Instagram account (@legitsadierob), the young star revealed that she chose her cousin to accompany her to the prom, and she shared their photo saying, "Cousin pic at jr-sr. Insta overload is about to happen."
Sadie was a vision in a white and beige dress with floral lace details, which she designed herself. "The dress I wore last night is in my Sherri Hill collection so if you wanna match with me go to SherriHill.com and go to the Sadie Robertson Collection to see all my dresses," she said.
It seemed like her boyfriend Blake really wanted to make it up to Sadie for missing her prom, so he surprised her during the after party.
Sadie shared, "So let me just tell Ya about this one right here... my 'prom' was last night and my handsome boyfriend wasn't able to make it because of a baseball game so I was a little bummed. He literally got on a plane right after his baseball game & showed up with flowers at the after party & completely surprised me just to make my night more special. I know... I'm lucky."
She and her boyfriend have been making their long-distance relationship work ever since Blake went away for college. Sadie has earlier said that she is extremely proud of her boyfriend for playing college baseball, and that she will always be his number one fan. "You played for God & you are definitely being rewarded for that," she said.
Of course, Sadie admitted that she is often "missing my man" but Blake makes up for it by sending sweet surprises just to make his girlfriend smile.
