'Batman vs Superman' movie news: plot rumors, Doomsday, Lex Luthor and more

 Warner Bros.

The filming of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has wrapped up way earlier than expected. But this is really good news for everyone since there will be more concrete details to indulge in as opposed to mere speculations and rumors with little basis.

Badass Digest has unloaded a bunch of tidbits from the movie, one of which is that the movie will open with Bruce Wayne's flashback as he arrives in Metropolis and witnesses Superman and General Zod's fight. The film actually takes place years after the first "Man of Steel" movie and now, Superman is already known as a hero in Metropolis.

In the movie, Clark Kent and Lois Lane are working at the Daily Planet and are living together, too. While Kent makes it appear that he is working on fluff pieces, he is actually researching about Batman, says Screen Rant

Further details about Superman include going to the Middle East to save Lois. This will lead to an international incident that will make him look like an American weapon. Nonetheless, he will get General Swanwick's support. Also, the Man of Steel will fight with an unnamed villain, but instead of killing him, he decides to put him behind bars.

Meanwhile, fans speculate that Batman and Lex Luthor will contemplate what kind of world it would be without Superman. The latest details, sort of, support this speculation ever since talks about "Justice League" started. This movie just clearly proves that there will be a villain that will put Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman in an alliance. This could be Doomsday, as previous reports have stated.

And with Doomsday's name always being dropped, rumor has it that he could actually be a product of LexCorp. According to Screen Rant, Doomsday is merely a physical threat for Superman and Wonder Woman, but Batman's high-tech weapons and strategic mind should be able to beat the powerful villain. And yes, Doomsday will be in "Dawn of Justice."

"Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
