Developer Rocksteady Studios has rolled out a new patch update for the console version of "Batman: Arkham Knight." The patch, considered as a major update, addresses most of the issues within the game.

In the update, the most noted difference is the addition of a Photo Mode on the PlayStation 4 version. With the feature turned on in-game, players can take photos of any character in action, edit them, and share the images with friends.

Aside from the new feature, the new patch 1.05 also updates the WB Play and Downloadable Content features, as well as the voice-cast options for non-English languages. There are also be improvements to gameplay, graphics, audio, and user interface for the title. In addition, the patch introduces support for the recently-launched August add-ons like the "Batgirl" DLC, also known as the "A Matter of Family" expansion pack.

The patch also introduces different stability fixes. "Batman: Arkham Knight" received negative reviews because of numerous issues to all of its platform versions.

When the title was launched, it was hailed as one of this year's most-anticipated releases. However, merely hours after the release, players took to online threads and forums to air their complaints, saying that the title has a number of glitches such as gameplay bugs and the much-talked about frame rate and graphics issues. The reviews and complaints have gotten out of hand that the title's publisher, WB Games Interactive, even pulled the release out of Steam and other retail stores.

Since patch 1.05 is already considered as a major update with its 1.6 GB size, or 4.3 GB including previous patches, it is expected that it will address all major issues in its console versions. Meanwhile, there is no definite date on when a "Batman: Arkham Knight" PC patch will roll out.
