The latest chapter of the manga finally provided what fans have been longing to know and more. It shed light on the origin of the Titans and the identity of Zeke.
Chapter 86 revealed the backstory of Grisha, which included a war between the Marleyans and the Eldians, where Eren's father was a part of and where one side was led by Ymir Fritz, who obtained the Titan Power.
It was also revealed in this "Attack on Titan" that Grisha had a sister named Fay, who was taken and eventually killed by Marley soldiers when they were really young.
Another shocking revelation in "Attack on Titan" chapter 86 was that Zeke is actually the son of Grisha and Dina Fritz, a descendant of the Fritz royal family. This means that, as fans predicted, he is the half-brother of Eren.
Interestingly, all this was only contained in one of Grisha's three journals, which means that there will be more bombshells in the upcoming chapters of the "Attack on Titan" manga.
It is looking like the manga is at a momentum where it uncovers the long-standing secrets that were established in the story, along with the litany of revelations are more mysteries.
