Online retailer Flipkart already made a listing of the Asus ZenFone 2 live on its website as well as a countdown timer that leads to its eventual availability set on April 23. The much-awaited handset is coming tomorrow and users in India should keep their eyes peeled for its arrival.
Users who want to be notified the second the smartphone lands on Flipkart can sign up on the site with their email address. The retailer will then send an email to the address about the landing of the highly-anticipated handset from Asus.
The Asus ZenFone 2 is the company's flagship and is touted to be the best in its lineup. The device comes in various flavors and Asus takes pride in the integration of a 4 GB RAM in most of those models.
Drawing its power from a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor set at 2.3 GHz, the handset packs 16, 32, and 64 GB storage capacities, which are conveniently expandable. Also, the handset ties up with either a 2 GB or 4 GB RAM.
Some models of the handset come with a 5.5-inch display with 1080p resolution while the rest, which are the standard ones, are at 5 inches. The star feature of the lineup is the 13-megapixel PixelMaster camera, which is primed to shoot stellar photos even in low light conditions.
The device also promises better selfies with a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter that comes with a unique Beautification Mode that takes care of the "digital make-up." The Asus offering is equipped with a 3000 mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The top-end model of the Asus ZenFone 2 is priced at Rs. 19,900. This could go down to Rs. 11,900, depending on the specs of the handset.
