Actor Bruce Campbell, who plays Ash Williams in the show "Ash vs. Evil Dead," has announced that Lee Majors will be returning for the third season of the horror-comedy television series, which is set to premiere early next year.

Even though Majors' character, Ash's father Brock died when he was run down by a demonic car in the show's second season, Campbell revealed that the show has found a way to bring him back.

The lead actor spoke during the New York comic con, saying that Brock will be appearing as a ghost. "We brought him back. So, we have some good scenes with him as a ghost," Campbell said in a report from TV Insider. "Lee is funny. Lee has a good sense of humor."

Campbell also shared that since this is Majors' second run as part of the series, he is more relaxed now and has gotten comfortable with him. "This season, now, Lee is way more relaxed because he is like: 'I've got this. I know what this is now,'" he said. "You come on to a new show, you don't know what the hell it is. You don't know any of these people. He is comfortable with me now and, so, he's great."

Fans of the show need to get ready for more gore-filled, but funny adventures, as season 3 of the horror comedy show is set to premiere on Feb. 25 on Starz. The new season will consist of 10 episodes.

Campbell is reprising his iconic role of the titular character Ash, along with his trusty chainsaw will work to save the world from evil. Actress Lucy Lawless will portray the role of Ruby, the volatile antagonist who is also Ash's occasional ally.

Ray Santiago returns as Pablo Simon Bolivar, the protagonist's loyal sidekick. On the other hand, Dana DeLorenzo reprises her role of as Kelly Maxwell, an initially reluctant woman who gets dragged into the battle against evil.
