'Arrow' season 3 spoilers: Will the Arrow come to his senses in the season finale episode 23 'My Name Is Oliver Queen'?

Arrow CW

Before "Arrow" gets to its season 3 finale, viewers saw a brainwashed Oliver carrying out the demon's order to eliminate Nyssa, who was deemed a threat to his ascension to the throne. While he was successful in capturing Nyssa, Ra's revealed that Oliver should marry her instead. This is one of the two tasks left for Ollie to do to become the new leader of the League of Assassins. The other is bringing Starling City to ashes.

Team Arrow believes that Oliver is still inside of the murderous, ruthless Al-Sah-Him and that the "League mind voodoo," as Felicity so eloquently described, has not completely consumed Ollie. Just like them, fans believe that the season finale titled "My Name is Oliver Queen" is the perfect episode for the return of the Arrow.

The weakening brainwashing becomes evident when Al-Sah-Him expresses huge shock when he learns that Maseo, who corrects everyone who does not call him by the name Sarab, has given Ra's the alpha and the omega, a lethal amalgam the demon's head wants Oliver to use in reducing Starling City, the place the Arrow has sworn to protect, into rubble.

In the flashbacks, Oliver, together with Maseo and his wife, risked his life to get the alpha and the omega away from each other because when combined, they become death. And it sure is a shocker to know how Ra's got hold of them.

Will this finally get Oliver to come to his senses and will the Arrow be back soon? Fans can only hope. Besides, the promo for the season finale shows Oliver answering Ra's about his real identity, and it looks like it is just in time before the bionic weapon erases Starling City from the map and from history.

"Arrow" season 3 finale titled "My Name is Oliver Queen" will air on May 13.
