Arnold Schwarzenegger visits Sylvester Stallone for Christmas

American action star, Sylvester Stallone, was visited by former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on Christmas day. Stallone even posted a picture on his social media page as proof that the two indeed hang out during the holidays. Despite the two being fellow actors, the visit by "The Terminator" himself is something that Stallone was excited about.

On Stallone's Instagram page, the "Rocky" actor looked calm but ecstatic as he posed alongside Schwarzenegger, who was wearing a bright red jumper appropriate for the Christmas season. Stallone sported a smart looking white shirt with black trousers. The two posed in front of a giant statue of Rocky Balboa, which is arguably one of Stallone's most popular roles.

The photo was captioned with "Well look who drop by on Christmas! @schwarzenegger always fills the room with positive energy!" It is evident in Stallone's caption that he was very excited by Schwarzenegger's visit in his Beverly Hills residence. It is known that the two action film legends are very close friends in real life, and they constantly communicate through social media to the delight of their fans.

Shortly after posting the photo with Schwarzenegger, Stallone switched to more comfortable clothes for a family Christmas photo with his wife and three daughters. Stallone wore an all-black outfit, while his daughters wore bright red tops. Stallone's wife, Jennifer Flavin, wore a white top and the entire family situated themselves in front of their Christmas tree.

The two have not always been close, especially early on in their Hollywood careers. This is due to the fact that the two actors were very competitive in their profession as action stars that they constantly threw shade at each other during the late 80's and the early 90's. Both of them wanted to be the best in what they were doing. After more than two decades, Stallone and Schwarzenegger got to mend fences after they filmed "The Expendables 2."
