Apple iPhone X pre-order, delivery times details: Customers can purchase device starting Oct. 27

iPhone X will be available for pre-order starting Oct. 27 Apple

Apple's iPhone X will be available for pre-order starting Friday, Oct. 27. Those who want to receive it on launch day will have to act fast as soon as it opens at 3:01 a.m. EDT and pray for the best of luck.

The pre-order system is a first-come-first-served basis and the quickest way to do it is via the Apple Store app. A tip to iPhone fans who really want to get the new gadget as it launches, be ready with all the details needed to fill up the pre-order form. These include the color and storage capacity preferred, delivery address and credit card number.

Since iPhone X supplies are very limited, every second counts in this race for pre-orders. Those who successfully complete their application will receive a confirmation email from Apple and can expect their phone to arrive on launch day if they are among the early birds. However, those who fail to make the cut might have to wait a few months to get their phones.

iPhone X is the latest in Apple's line of state-of-the-art gadgets and one of the year's most anticipated. It features a revolutionary design with an all-screen OLED display, wireless charging, face identification technology and a rear camera that comes with dual optical image stabilization. It also comes in silver and space gray. Critics noted this is probably the "most groundbreaking iPhone in years."

There has been a lot of buzz since the gadget was announced last month and some experts believe the pre-orders might be double the available iPhone X stock, and Apple will not be ready with a new batch until a few months.

For those who prefer to fall in long lines to get the phone on release day, iPhone X will be available in Apple Stores across over 55 countries starting Nov. 3, 8 a.m. local time. Of course, those are also expected to be sold out within minutes. Prices are at $999 for 64 GB and $1149 for 256 GB.
