At least three Motorola devices could be getting and Android 5.1.1 OS bump soon with reports that the Motorola smartwatch (Moto 360) is already receiving the latest Android OS version.

The availability of the Android 5.1.1 OS for one of the more reliable wearables in the market was confirmed through a report by Gotta Be Mobile. The release will however come in staggered stages so Motorola owners may want to make constant checks on the available updates on their device.

As far as the devices are concerned, the Motorola Moto X series is said to be already receiving the Android 5.1.1 update as well with the Moto E (2nd Gen) set to be released soon too.

Currently, Motorola is said to be rolling out the Android 5.1 OS update for unlocked versions of Moto X 2013 in US, Brazil, and Canada.

However, as far as the Moto X Pure Edition is concerned, owners of this version may face delays since it was revealed by Motorola's David Schuster that the device had issues after soak tests which need to be addressed first.

As far as the other Motorola device variants are concerned, here is what has been revealed so far.

Though Verizon had already released the Android 5.1 Lollipop for the Moto E (2nd Gen), there is no word on when the Android bump for the Moto E 1st Gen will be arriving.

With regards to the Moto G, the Android 5.1.1 OS bump only happened in India for the Moto G 1st and 2nd Gen. But as far as the global stage is concerned, it remains to be seen when it would actually make the scene.

Aside from India, both the first and second generation Moto G devices currently run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. There is word suggesting that Moto G line may not be receiving an update at all due to budget issues.
