Google's newest and sweetest update has yet to be savored by all major Android smartphone users in the turf. They need not fret though. The rollout of Android Lollipop 5.0 is a gradual process and it will get to theirs soon.

Motorola, for one, is quick-moving when it comes to launching the software. Users of the Moto G 2014 should be enjoying theirs by now. International and U.S. editions of the device were gussied up with the software as well. However, users from other regions of the world have yet to experience the new build. Motorola seems to have released Android 5.0 Lollipop for the first generation Moto G but not all have gotten a hold of it yet.

The Moto X, original and Verizon variants, already got a taste of the Android 5.0 Lollipop. Those who own the Moto E, Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx, Droid Mini and Moto X 2013 are still waiting for their turn to get the OS. Interestingly, Motorola seems to have moved on to delivering Android 5.0.1 instead. Customs Today reported about rumors saying that the 5.0.1 version will arrive at users of both Moto G variants in different parts of the world.

Meanwhile, recent leaks revealed that HTC gave out Android 5.0.1 Lollipop a week ago, from Jan.3, to the HTC One M7 and the HTC One M8 variants. This, obviously, did not transpire. New reports, as echoed by The Fuse Joplin, are now suggesting that the HTC devices will instead acquire the update in the next weeks to come. U.S. carriers could lag behind in HTC's Lollipop plans. Furthermore, devices included in the HTC Advantage Program are in line for the firmware as well. Some of which are HTC One Max, HTC One Mini, HTC One E8 and HTC One Remix.

Sony, on the other hand, has so many devices lined up for Lollipop. The Xperia Z2, as Fuse Joplin pronounced, will see the Material Design and the bug fixes brought about by Lollipop by February this year. Before this, however, Z3 will experience it first. Customs Today enumerated the devices that will get the update, which include Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1S, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1 Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3v, Xperia Z3 Compact, and the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact.
