'American Horror Story' season 5 spoilers: Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson join cast

For weeks, fans have been clamoring to know the rest of the ensemble to help out pop sensation Lady Gaga deliver new frights in the fifth season of "American Horror Story."  Now, the wait is finally over as the inclusion of two more stars in FOX's spine-tingling horror anthology has been sealed. It was during the PaleyFest event in Los Angeles that the number of cast members in "American Horror Story: Hotel" upped from one to three.

Matt Bomer, whose latest project titled "The Normal Heart" won him a Golden Globe award, will be checking in in the new chapter of Ryan Murphy's horror television series. It is important to know though that the "White Collar" star has been part of "American Horror Story" in the past. He had a short stint as a prostitute killed by a bloodthirsty Dandy in the fourth season of the series called "Freak Show."

The 37-year-old actor is said to be leading the season along alongside Lady Gaga, although he did not confirm that during the aforementioned event. Instead, he said that "[he loves] collaborating with Ryan Murphy," adding that "[he] can't confirm nor deny that there will be a romantic relationship with her."

Actor and singer-songwriter Cheyenne Jackson also got a gig in the series. Series creator Ryan Murphy has work history with the actor. He was in the musical dramedy "Glee" and Murphy was the one who co-created the series, which by the way, is nearing its end.

"I did Glee in Season 2, so I knew Ryan a bit," Jackson said as he took the stage in the Los Angeles convention. "About 6 months ago, [Ryan] talked to me and I said it's my absolute favorite show on television. I'm really, really excited. I'm absolutely nervous, but I'm really excited."

Meanwhile, "American Horror Story" veteran Jessica Lange has officially announced her departure from the series. The actress was there since the inception of the thriller and was last known as Freak Show manager Elsa in season 4.

"Yes, I'm done," Lange told Entertainment Weekly about her participation in the series. "We've had a great run here. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I've had the opportunity to play. In all the madness, I've loved the writers, my actors, Ryan and the whole, I mean, insanity of it, shooting here, shooting in New Orleans, the stories, everything."

"American Horror Story: Hotel" will begin filming late summer and the brand new story comprised of 13 episodes will debut in October.
