After the members of S.H.I.E.L.D discovered the exact location of the city that they are looking for during episode 8, the group will find out more about the place, but there's more at stake before they find out the truth about it.

The ninth episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" season 2 titled "...Ye Who Enter Here" will be as action-packed as before.  ABC released the official synopsis for the episode, which says:

"SHIELD discovers the ancient city before Hydra, but uncovering the secrets may require one of Coulson's team to make the ultimate sacrifice. Meanwhile, May and Skye race to get to Raina before Whitehall takes her."

Fans should expect to see a lot of Hydra in the upcoming episode, and the group will also face the Kree.

Executive producer Jeffrey Bell stated that the S.H.I.E.L.D. guys have no idea about the Kree, or where it came from. All they know is that the unusual carvings that Coulson (Clark Gregg) made when he was given the Kree serum is actually a map of the city, and that the group needs to discover its location before the terrorist group does.

Raina (Ruth Negga) will finally provide the name of the Kree for the first time which leads to the information about the "Girl in the Flower Dress."

"With Raina we know that she has been on a path," executive producer Maurissa Tancharoen said. "We've learned in her conversations with Skye's father — and also with Agent Garrett last season — that she's been told these stories of evolution and destiny, and so it's very much part of her lifelong quest to achieve this goal of hers. The Kree are a part of the stories she's heard her whole life."

Also, the viewers will finally discover that Raina and Skye (Chloe Bennet) have something in common.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 2 episode 9 will air on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
