The sting videos released by the Center for Medical Progress concerning abortion service provider Planned Parenthood have been eye-openers for some people. But sadly, many others insist on wearing their blindfolds and letting the organisation continue with its sordid malpractices, Christian critics say.
Each of the sting videos revealed something new and heart-wrenching on Planned Parenthood's operations. News Max gathered eight shocking truths arising from the videos.
First, Planned Parenthood is selling aborted foetal organs, since the early videos showed abortion doctors haggling over the prices of foetal organs. It is illegal to sell foetal tissues for a profit, but Planned Parenthood has defended itself, saying that it was only trying to make up for shipping and handling fees associated with tissue donation.
Second, abortion doctors joke about the foetuses they have killed, with Dr. Mary Gatter joking in one video that she wanted a Lamborghini in exchange for foetal organs.
Third, abortions are sometimes performed on babies while they are being born. As seen in the ninth video, Perrin Larton, second-trimester foetal tissue procurement manager for Advanced Bioscience Resources Inc., a Planned Parenthood contractor, even detailed what she experienced during the procedure.
"I literally have had women come in and they'll go in the OR and they're back out in three minutes, and I'm going, 'What's going on?' Oh yeah, the foetus was already in the vaginal canal whenever we put her in the stirrups, it just fell out," she said.
Fourth, abortion providers sometimes use the cardiotoxic drug digoxin to kill babies in the womb because it makes their tissues softer and easier to cut after the procedure. Planned Parenthood doctor Deborah Nucatola explains in the video released July 14: "There's a group of people who just use it so they have no risk of violating the Federal Abortion Ban. Because if you induce a demise before the procedure, nobody's going to say you did a 'live' — whatever the federal government calls it. Partial-birth abortion."
Fifth, in relation to the fourth truth, digoxin renders foetal tissue unusable for donation, so crushing the foetus would be okay after its use.
Sixth, during one abortion procedure one baby was born intact, but the technicians still went ahead and cut its face off for brain harvesting. Holly O'Donnell, a former Blood and Tissue Procurement Technician for StemExpress, described the horror of cutting off the face of a baby. "She gave me the scissors and told me that I had to cut down the middle of the face. I can't even describe what that feels like."
Seventh, abortion doctors can actually make the heart of an aborted baby beat. "And she just taps the heart, and it starts beating," O'Donnell continued her story. "And I'm sitting here and I'm looking at this foetus, and its heart is beating, and I don't know what to think... I don't know if that constitutes it's technically dead, or it's alive."
Lastly, major news outlets such as ABC, NBC and CBS have all failed to report any of the videos that exposed the operations of Planned Parenthood.
