Nicki Minaj has song that made it to Christian iTunes chart: What is it?

"Anaconda" rapper Nicki Minaj might not look like it, but she is also a Christian who is not shy about professing her faith. She did so when she teamed up with gospel artist Tasha Cobbs in the single, "I'm Getting Ready."

The song, which initially dropped last August, is gaining momentum in the Christian iTunes chart. In fact, it even garnered the No. 2 spot.

Both singers belted out in the song that they "serve the God that parted the Red sea," and they "don't gotta talk, the Lord defends me/ I watch them all fall for going against me/ 'Cause me and all my angels shot the devil up."

The rest of the lyrics go: "While you was trying to pull me down, I levelled up/ I levelled up twice, I levelled up three times/ He tapped 'em and told 'em "she's mine"/ So even when I cried I knew I'd be fine/ Prepare for a miracle blessing in these times/ Now praise Him, raise Him, name it, claim it/ Every tongue that rises up against me, shame it/ I breathe success in and out my lungs/ I got the power of life and death coming out of my tongue."

Aside from her Christian faith, there are a few things about Minaj that the public still does not know. Seeing her perform on stage and in her music videos, the rapper appears to be a self-confident woman and independent who is not afraid to take on the world. But Minaj confessed to the Rolling Stone that her public appearance often betrays how she truly feels, and she is often hesitant to share personal details about her personal life.

"I had to learn to do something as simple as sleep alone," she said. "I struggled with 'Do I express these feelings?' And I decided there's no reason for me to hide. I'm a vulnerable woman, and I'm proud of that."
