In the next episode of "Lethal Weapon," Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) and Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) investigate a murdered man whose bet wins at a horse race.

The trailer of the upcoming installment titled "Let It Ride" was just released recently and showed a man lying dead on a sidewalk. Riggs and Murtaugh are on the scene to investigate the mysterious death. Also at the scene of the crime is Leo Getz (Thomas Lennon) who is a close acquaintance of Riggs and Murtaugh but also a close friend of the victim. "We got the band back together," Getz says to the police duo. It turns out that the victim's horse won at the races just after he mysteriously died.

The cops get a lead in the case and go to a tattoo parlor to interrogate the people there. "We are looking for a loan shark, extortionist," Riggs tells the people inside the establishment. It seems that they may know who the victim placed the bet with before he died. However, the conversation leads to a fight as one of the perpetrators tries to stab Murtaugh with a knife while the other pulls a gun on Riggs. It remains to be seen if the thugs will get caught and if they will give any useful information to the investigators.

In the last episode, the cops went after an elusive and professional thief named Cooper (Adrian Pasdar) who robbed a group of wealthy people on an airplane of their money and jewelry. With the help of his estranged daughter Nora (Monica Barbaro), Riggs and Murtaugh were able to catch Cooper as well as the thugs who were trying to kill him because he had stolen their diamonds on the airplane.

"Lethal Weapon" season 2 episode 5 will arrive on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
