The last time fans saw Phil (Will Forte) and his ex-wife Carol (Kristen Schaal) in the season 1 finale of "The Last Man on Earth," Phil was kicked out of his home in Tucson after admitting that he almost left Todd to die in the desert, and Carol took pity on Phil and decided to leave town with him to find a new home. Now, in new promo clips released by Fox, the pair's destination has been revealed: they are headed to one of the most historic places in the United States — The White House.

In the promo video posted on The Hollywood Reporter, the two are seen making a stop at Carol's place and it is revealed that she has a knitting group called the KWA.

"Knitters with Attitude," Carol says.

The two are seen at the White House, with Carol lounging on a couch while Phil plays hockey indoors and crashes into an artifact, which falls off a pillar and crashes onto the floor.

Two more promo videos were released on Screenfad, which shows the couple trying to entertain themselves at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. One video shows Phil conducting a mock press conference, and he has an assortment of balls on the chairs and pretends that these are the reporters.

"Yes Bryce," Phil says to a soccer ball.

Meanwhile, Carol has fun trying on clothes which were worn by former first ladies, and she is seen admiring herself as she tries on a turquoise coat and a pillbox hat and gloves.

"Jackie, oh, no, you didn't," she says to her reflection.

Another video shows the couple setting up their margarita pool in the Oval Office, and Phil takes a nap in the pool while Carol drinks some margarita with a straw.

Meanwhile, more spoilers were revealed by TVLine and the website reports that while in the D.C. area, Phil is going to give Carol a sweet surprise, while Phil's brother, Matt, (Jason Sudeikis), an astronaut who was stranded in space when the deadly virus wiped out most of the population, will put in an appearance in the premiere episode.

Season 2 of "The Last Man on Earth" premieres on Sept. 27 at 9:30 p.m. on Fox.
