While HTC is still enjoying a successful launch of its newest flagship addition, the One A9, some fans are already asking about the schedule for the next premium flagship lineup, the much-expected One M10 iteration. According to speculations, fans may not have that long to wait as the One M10 may appear as early as February next year.

According to Master Herald, if HTC will not deviate from its schedule of flagship release schedules, the expected One M10 could make an appearance next February, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona, Spain. HTC has long been known to launch a premium flagship iteration at the annual event, starting with the One M7 back in 2013.

Meanwhile, the industry follower also noted that one rumor about the upcoming One M10 outing was that the new flagship will reportedly come out with Android 6.1 onboard. However, Master Herald added that the Android 6.1 environment was rumored to come out in the middle of the year, so the feature reportedly coming out of the box for the One M10 may just be an unsubstantiated rumor.

Phone Arena reported that aside from the One M10, another HTC flagship will be making an appearance early next year. Apparently, the One M10 will be joined by the rumored One X9. In addition, it is said that the One X9 will launch much earlier than the One M10 and may appear in as early as January.

The industry observer added that contrary to the speculations, it seems that the One X9 will not be another high-end premium smartphone offering from HTC. Tipsters have apparently found out that the specs sheet of the upcoming iteration placed it just below the One A9, which makes it another above-average smartphone lineup. If the rumors are true, the One X9 may launch with 5.5-inch screen, at least 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of internal memory.
