Disney's hit animated movie of 2013, "Frozen" is subject to several speculations and rumors and the latest of which is that newly-crowned Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtzbach, is said to play an important role in the upcoming sequel, "Frozen 2."

The speculation, which was easily picked up by several media outlets, started when Disney artist, Jimmy Mulligan, posted last Dec. 23 on Instagram a clip of his hand sketching on his iPad Pro the image of what appeared like the Queen Arendelle.

Mulligan captioned it with the hashtags #ipadpro, #missuniverse #pinay #piaalonzowurtzbach #disneyfied #mulliganart. On that same day, he followed up his post with the finished drawing of the "disneyfied" Wurtzbach, resembling a brunette Elsa. The artist even included the hashtag "Frozen."

This then led to the speculation that Wurtzbach may land a role in "Frozen's" sequel, set to arrive in 2018.This speculation appears to coincide with what Realty Today previously reported.

According to the news outlet, Elsa and her sister Anna will be sporting a new look. The new look referred to the sisters' new outfit, but could it also mean that their overall physical appearance will also change?

If Elsa does get a different look in the upcoming movie, it will be a big surprise for all fans who have come to know the white-haired ice queen. Then again, this only remains a speculation—and a popular one at that—and fans of both "Frozen" and "Wurtzbach" can only hope that it will come true.

Despite the ongoing hype surrounding "Frozen 2," the production has not issued any official announcement about what the movie will bring to the audience. It's also not impossible for Disney to consider the reigning Miss Universe as part of the next installment to the "Frozen" franchise.

"Frozen 2" will be directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee; Idina Menzel and Kirsten Bell are confirmed to return as the voices of Elsa and Anna. The animated flick is scheduled to be released sometime in 2018.
