This coming Sunday, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" will see the return of NeNe Leakes as she makes a surprise appearance during the ladies' Jamaica trip. From the looks of their faces in the midseason teaser, it definitely looks like the ladies were not expecting her return.

Speaking with E! News, Sheree Whitfield previewed NeNe's appearance on the upcoming Jamaica trip and revealed that Cynthia Bailey kept her arrival under wraps.

"No one expected NeNe to pop up," Sheree said. "At the time, we were like, 'Did they run into each other at the hotel? The airport? We didn't know what was going on. She and Greg just twirled in."

Sheree revealed that she hoped that her return to the Bravo show occurred when NeNe was still part of the cast. Sheree left the show back in season 4, while NeNe announced last year that she wouldn't be returning for season 8. The two ladies famously feuded in previous seasons of the show.

"A lot of animosity and bitterness back then, and I would love to see how we interact today," Sheree said, adding that she would love to move past that. Viewers will certainly be in for more drama as the reality star said that this Sunday's Jamaica trip will be a "jaw-dropping experience for everybody."

According to the synopsis for the episode titled "Jamaican Beef Catty," NeNe's arrival creates an immediate rift between Kenya Moore and Cynthia's friendship as NeNe questions how the two are "besties" now. Cynthia is one of NeNe's closest friends, while Kenya and NeNe have fought several times since Kenya joined the show. Later in the episode, Kenya is devastated when Cynthia decides to not let her be involved in her eyewear commercial, while Kim Fields gets upset when her directing credentials are questioned.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
