Samsung Galaxy S6 is rumored to be better than iPhone 6, and will feature a 20-megapixel camera and a more powerful chipset.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 release date is expected to happen early next year, most probably in February or March. Samsung has a good track record in boosting the features of the next generation of its devices. Three features topping the list of the Samsung Galaxy S6 are camera improvements, better processor, and new Android OS.

The smartphone will most probably pack a slightly larger screen display with a metal casing. The rumored smartphone is speculated to come with a 20-megapixel camera. The current Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge each packs a 16 MP snapper at the back. Samsung can also promise a better and more powerful processor. The new phablets are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805. A new set of processors have been rumored to come with the new phone.

Google's vice president in charge of Android and Chrome, Sundar Pichai, told in an interview at the Mobile World Congress that Samsung will still use the Android OS in the next generation of Galaxy S devices. This is amidst the rumors that Samsung is turning to South Korean OS company, Tizen, for its operating system. Tizen OS has already made its way to some of Samsung devices such as Gear 2.

According to other speculations, the Samsung Galaxy S6 will likely be released in April 2015. The South Korean company will probably follow its usual release date for the Galaxy S smartphones. Just like early this year, the Samsung Galaxy S5 was announced in February and was made available for purchase in April. In the past, the Mobile World Congress trade show has been the launching platform for Samsung Galaxy S smartphones. Thus, the next handset will presumabily come out at the said event next year.

However, nothing is official yet until Samsung announces the details of its smartphone and its roadmap.
