Premier Gospel is on the hunt for unsigned talent

Fans can vote for their favourite tune, simply by buying the tracks they love – pushing the artist up the music chart. This groundbreaking award takes social networking to a new level, astute artists will draw on social networking sites to mobilise their fan base into voting for them.

Artists can enter their tunes into the chart and grab a chance to gain the award just by signing (for free) and uploading their tune and artist biog on to www.premiergospeltunebreaker.com. The winner will be announced on Easter Saturday.

Unsigned artists stand a chance of a winning a publishing deal with Premier Signature, £1000, a chance to sing at a Premier Gospel Event, and the kudos of being the first artist of the month on Premier Gospel Radio!

There are no losers in this award; artists will have the ability to sell themselves and their music to a global fanbase. They also have the chance to come away with enough money buy new equipment, more rehearsal time or recording a new track.

John Toone founder of TuneBreaker says: "The TuneBreaker method creates an environment for marginalised unsigned artists where the TuneBreaker Live Chart can show artists where they are in a chart based on sales.

"This is of huge promotional benefit to them and is a real incentive to push on and promote market and drive themselves forward.

"On top of all that they receive 50% of the net revenues too! We are proud to come together with Premier Media Group to launch the worldwide Premier Gospel TuneBreaker award and fully expect Premier’s expertise in this field to make this a huge success worldwide."

Muyiwa Olarewaju, Premier Gospel’s Station Director said: “Premier Gospel TuneBreaker Live Chart is a chance for Premier Gospel fans to really get involved.

"There are some great unsigned acts out there, that deserve recognition. We’re not looking to do this award as a one off, this will be a monthly award, attracting Gospel artists from around the globe!”

The smallprint:
Artists will have the chance to upload two original recordings in the form of MP3s. They must own the recording copyrights. Publishing can be owned by a 3rd party provided they are original compositions (cleared samples both recording & compositions are allowed). Songs will be priced at just £0.60.

What’s more, artists entering their tunes will receive a cut of the net revenue from each sale, which we estimate will be around £0.15p per sale.
