Fans are going to see double in "Once Upon a Time" season 6. Not only is Regina's (Lana Parilla) evil personality getting a physical incarnation, two new familiar characters will also be making a debut.

In the final moments of "Once Upon A Time" season 5, Regina was able to purge the evil in her. Unfortuantely, it materialized into a physical embodiment of the Evil Queen.

Explaining the newly emerged character set to bring trouble in "Once Upon a Time" season 6, Parilla told Entertainment Weekly, "It's not split personality, but it's two separate Reginas: the Evil Queen and Hero Regina."

"So it's gonna be really fun to play both sides. I've always played two sides, and she's always been both, but she's never been split," the actress went on to say.

"Once Upon a Time" season 6 will welcome not only the Evil Queen but also introduce new characters and new worlds. The series seems to be going for literary icons instead of Disney characters this time, thus the inclusion of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

The characters to be given life by Hank Harris and Sam Witwer will play big roles in "Once Upon a Time" season 6. In fact, they set the stage for the new season. It was their potion that led to the emergence of the Evil Queen.

It is unknown what the two characters will be up to in "Once Upon A Time" season 6. Whether or not the split personalities will be friends or foes remains to be seen.

The characters hail from the world the other heroes were sucked into as they attempted to get everyone else home. This place is called the Land of Untold Stories. As what was teased before, this new realm will be explored differently from the way the Underworld was explored.

The addition of Hyde and Jekyll as well as the easter eggs that point to the possible integration of the worlds of "Gulliver's Travels" and "Don Quixote" hint that "Once Upon a Time" is expanding character options.

"Once Upon a Time" season 6 is expected to premiere this fall.
