NFL Sunday Night Football live stream (NBC): Watch Houston Texans vs Indianapolis Colts online

NFL Sunday Night Football for Week 6 of the NFL 2016 regular season will see the Houston Texans host the Indianapolis Colts today. Today's big game comes from the NRG Stadium in Houston, and has a scheduled start time of 8.30 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the NBC network or online through live stream via the link below.

The Texans will be hoping to bounce right back up after suffering their second defeat of the season so far last week against the high flying Minnesota Vikings.

Houston will be disappointed with the way they were so comprehensively swept aside by the Vikings in that 31-13 defeat, however, they will also know that they faced the in form team in the NFL right now.

The Texans' loss in Week 5 left them on 3-2 - still a respectable start to the season - and they will know if they can get back to winning ways with victory today then 4-2 would leave them in an excellent position as November approaches.

Their opposition today, the Indianapolis Colts, have had a tough season so far and come into today's game on 2-3 having limped to a 29-23 win over the hapless Chicago Bears last week.

The Colts have been finding it difficult to find that spark to get their season going, and they will be hoping that if they can string another win together today, against the likes of a strong Texans outfit, then it could spark new life into their season and allow them to push on and fight for a postseason spot. The Texans though will of course have other plans.

Earlier this week, Week 6 got started with a big game between the Denver Broncos and the San Diego Chargers on Thursday Night Football.

The Broncos came into the game as heavy favorites, with most expecting them to bounce back from their first defeat of the season a week before. However, it became apparent that Denver's first loss was not simply a minor blip, and they now appear to be heading into a slump in form as they were defeated 21-13 by the Chargers.

San Diego were in charge throughout, and heading into the final quarter, the Chargers were 19-3 ahead. The Broncos finally showed some life in offense in the fourth quarter, but 10 points was nowhere near enough to get them back into the game.

That result dropped the Broncos back to 4-2, and simultaneously lifted the Chargers up to 2-4 and gives them a tiny glimmer of hope that this season still holds something for them.

The victory will be sweet relief for San Diego fans, who have witnessed their team constantly choke to give away fourth quarter leads again and again this season to drop to 1-4.

Although there were signs of what had gone on in previous games here, the result was never seriously in doubt. Chargers' fans will still have been holding their breath though when the Broncos shortened the lead to 8 points with 32 seconds left, but a last gasp drive from the Broncos ended with a failed Hail Mary and finally the San Diego faithful were able to breathe again.

The Broncos now have time to rest with an extra long week before returning in Week 7 on Monday Night Football to face the Houston Texans. Meanwhile, the Chargers won't play again until two Sundays from now when they will take on the Atlanta Falcons.
