Owners of the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL can start using Microsoft's Windows Device Recovery Tool, which was recently updated to support the latest smartphones that run using the latest Windows 10 Mobile operating system.

According to the Windows Central, both devices can now use the app that allows its owners to use the earlier versions of the mobile operating system in case something goes wrong with their mobile devices.

A new firmware version is also available for both the AT&T Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, but there is no word regarding the content of the new firmware version. However, it should be safe to assume that the new firmware available for both the latest Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL devices comes with several bug fixes and other added improvements.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 comes with a 5.2-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and powered with a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor. Meanwhile, the Lumia XL features a 5.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and powered by a Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor.

Both devices feature 32 GB of internal memory with 3 GB of RAM, but the memory capacity can be expanded up to 200 GB using the device's built-in microSD slot.

Camera-wise, both the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL feature a 20-MP primary camera that comes with autofocus, Carl Zeiss optics, optical image stabilization, triple-LED RGB flash. They sport a 5-MP secondary shooter.

Reports claim that the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL smartphones now have the Windows 10 Mobile version 10589.0, which happens to be an experimental build. However, the final version of Windows 10 Mobile is expected to be released by the tech firm in the coming days.
