Details about the plot of "Jurassic World 2" remain scarce, but Bryce Dallas Howard can confirm one piece of information about the sequel before its release in 2018.

In an interview with The Huffington Post, Howard lightheartedly dealt with the viral jokes about her character Claire Dearing. In the 2015 film, Claire was seen running around in high heels to avoid being gobbled up by the dinosaurs. But instead of being offended, the actress was actually laughing with the rest of the world about Claire's footwear of choice.

"Oh my gosh! It's my favorite stuff, just the GIFs online. I mean, did you see the really funny thing where it had everyone from the previous film, including the dinosaurs, wearing heels? That was hilarious," Howard stated.

The actress also revealed that she did not expect to see the moviegoers react that way about Claire's shoes. But she claims that her character will no longer have to run in painful-looking heels in the sequel, after director-producer Colin Trevorrow sent her a text saying, "#NoHeels2018," in reference to the upcoming film.

Meanwhile, Trevorrow revealed in an interview with Wired that the second installment of "Jurassic World" will confine the dinosaurs in a single place.

"I feel like the idea that this isn't always going to be limited to theme parks, and there are applications for this science that reach far beyond entertainment. And when you look back at nuclear power and how that started, the first instinct was to weaponise it and later on we found it could be used for energy," the director of the blockbuster movie stated.

This could mean that the next batch of dinosaurs could be used by humans as weapons as part of their security.

Trevorrow also admitted that the idea may not be part of Michael Crichton's original 1990 sci-fi novel titled "Jurassic Park," where the film and its original trilogy directed by Steven Spielberg came from. But he is hoping to add it in the plot in case the film franchise will come up with more movies in the future.

"Jurassic World 2" is slated to premiere in cinemas in June 22, 2018.
