Josh Duggar's wife Anna gives advice to sister-in-law Jessa and other young moms: Have a learning spirit

Josh Duggar's aggrieved wife Anna might have been criticised severely for being a gullible wife in light of her husband's cheating streak, but if there's one thing that the former "19 Kids and Counting" reality star truly excels at, then that would have to be motherhood.

The mother of Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, and Meredith Grace is very hands-on in caring for her children, and even without Josh's help, she seems to be doing just fine.

Her sister-in-law Jessa has just given birth to her first son with Ben Seewald named Spurgeon Elliot. In light of the recent childbirth, Anna is sharing some motherhood advice not only for Jessa but also for other young moms.

During an interview published in the Duggar Family Blog, Anna said that the most important thing mothers need to develop is a learning spirit.

"I remember with Mackynzie, I thought we had so much figured out. And then with Michael, I was like, 'What can I learn?' And then with Marcus, it really brought me to my knees. I realised I couldn't do it on my own and that I needed God's wisdom to love each one of my children individually," she said.

Another advice that Anna has for mothers is for them to enjoy each moment spent with their kids. Even though this could be very difficult for mothers who have lots of kids, Anna believes that getting to know each child will pay off in the end.

"I encourage moms to invest in their kids' lives, even when they are babies. When you have one child, it's still fairly easy to run around and do things, but try to remember to spend one-on-one time with that child because he or she is going to be the example that your other kids are going to follow," she said.
