Final Fantasy XV - Carbuncle SurpriseSquare Enix

Square Enix continues to market the upcoming "Final Fantasy XV" with a brand new "Carbuncle Surprise" trailer. This trailer goes into detail regarding the pre-order bonus promo for the game and reveals that players can win special rewards such as in-game DLC, a custom Xbox One or even a real car.

As shown in the trailer, the only requirement is to pre-order any version of the game. This includes the Day One Edition, the Deluxe Edition or the Ultimate Collector's Edition. Pre-ordering will give the consumers the chance to win a prize and results are posted every Friday. Those who do not win will still receive member points which can be used at the Square-Enix online store.

Prizes go from limited edition action figures, "Final Fantasy XV" themed accessories such as gloves, wireless stereo speakers, a "Final Fantasy XV" custom theme Xbox One, an entire entertainment system complete with a television screen with player and speakers, the Cindymobile DLC which gives a brand new look to the game's Regalia vehicle and the grand prize is a real Audi Sedan vehicle.

A report from Gematsu also showcases many new screenshots of the game and two new characters. The first new character is Ravus Nox Fleuret, the older brother of Lunafreya and a former Tenebrae Kingdom member who has turned over to the Niflheim Empire. The second character is Iris Amicitia, Gladilous' sister and close friend to Noctis.

Other screenshots showcase the game's numerous shops such as the weapon shops found in the back of a truck or the item shops that are different from town to town. Other screenshots showcase that the player can get news or information from diners and that there are mobhunt jobs which lets the player earn rewards by hunting specific monsters.

"Final Fantasy XV" will release for Xbox One and PS4 this Sept. 30. Square Enix is currently still deciding on whether to release the game or not on PC.
