Apple Event September 2013: iOS 7 release to come after iPhone 5S, iPhone 6/5C, and iPad 5 are unveiled Sept. 10

The rumored Apple Keynote event where a string of refreshed devices are expected to be unveiled is just two weeks away.

The Apple event, which is rumored to take place Sept. 10, 2013, will reveal the new line of Apple iPhones – the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6/5C, and iPad 5. The final master version of iOS 7 is also set to be released soon after the event.

Apple CEO Tim Cook will likely be delivering the keynote speech and introduce the new line of devices.

The iPad 5 is also set to be unveiled with updated components.

The budget iPhone 6/5C is expected have the same specs and features as the current iPhone 5, but will be encased with a cheaper body. The device is rumored to come with a plastic casing and chassis of both plastic and metal. The budget price does not mean that the screen will be compromised, as it is expected to come with a 4 inch retina display, A6 chip, and 8 megapixel camera. Apple will offer their iPhones in colors other than black and white for the first time- red, green, yellow, and blue.

The next generation iPhone 5S is expected to have upgraded specs, with A7, improved battery, and 12-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, and a fingerprint sensor.

Apple's competitor Samsung is also scheduled to release the third generation Galaxy Note 3 phablet at the IFA consumer electronics trade show in Berlin, which will be held Sept. 6-11. HTC is also rumored to release its own phablet – the HTC One Max.

Apple's iOS 7 beta 6 was released last week, which included an emergency bug fix for iTunes in the Cloud purchases download. It is now available for iPhones, iPad and iPod touch. The iOS 7 beta 6 version is available now via Over The Air (OTA) update.

If there are no further beta updates to come, then the beta 6 version would be the last version with necessary fixes before Apple's official master version launch next month. Six beta versions of the iOS 7 have been released already since the mobile operating system was first introduce at Apple's World Wide Developer's Conference in June 2013.

The iOS 7 is expected by many to have a scheduled release date for September 18, but if the iPhone 5s/6/5C is unveiled on September 10, the official iOS 7 release may come later, around the time when the new phones actually hit the shelves.

However, some reports state that the Master version of iOS 7 is expected to be rolled out this week, prior to the Apple keynote event.

IBTimes reports that the iPhone 6 is expected to hit the shelves on Sept. 20, while the iPhone 5S arrives Sept. 27.
