The brand-new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro might look exactly like its predecessor, but General Motors made sure that the new version of the muscle car is far better than its previous version.

The sixth generation of the popular muscle car that comes after the one released in 2010 will reportedly come with three engine versions. One of them is the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that can produce 275, and another is the 3.6-liter V6 engine that could produce 335 hp (250 kW; 340 PS). The third is the 6.2-liter V8 engine that has the power to release 455 hp (339 kW; 461 PS), found in the SS model.

"We expect it will set the new benchmark in the segment – and give a new generation of enthusiasts a reason to fall in love with Camaro", Camaro chief engineer Al Oppenheiser previously stated after the automobile was unveiled in May 2015.

The brand-new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is also expected to feature several groundbreaking technologies, including the all-new Drive Mode Selector that can fit up to eight vehicle attributes under four modes that include running over snow or ice, running while on tour, driving the vehicle for sports, and driving on track for the SS models.

It will also have a segment-exclusive Interior Spectrum Lighting that provides 24 different ambient lighting effects, which can be seen on the dash, door panels, and center console of the automobile. It will also have high-definition, configurable color displays, including available dual, 8-inch-diagonal screens.

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will also come with a groundbreaking infotainment system that comes with a Sync 3 system that comes with an 8-inch full colour touchscreen LCD display, complete with a nine-speaker surround audio system. It will also have an Applink that can connect smartphone apps in the car.

At the moment, Camaro has yet to announce the official release date of 2016 Chevrolet Camaro.
