With the resounding success of the game "XCOM 2" for the PC, its console version will soon be released.

According to Movie News Guide, the game's developer, Firaxis, has finally given an official announcement on this game's launch, which is on Sept. 6 for North America. After three days, the game will be released globally. With this, fans are hyped as to how the game will be played on a console.

The game can be pre-ordered, which gives some bonuses to early birds. Pre-ordering the game will unlock the "Resistance Warrior" pack for the game. This includes a new headgear as well as custom facial warpaint and an additional headgear. This pack will include an additional recruitable soldier known as the "Survivor of the Old War."

"XCOM 2" will also have a Digital Deluxe edition, which will include Anarchy's Children, containing more than a hundred different customization options for the XCOM soldier's arsenal.

A highly acclaimed sequel to the 2012 game "XCOM: Enemy Unknown," "XCOM 2" was exclusively released for the PC platform, unlike its predecessor that had a simultaneous Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC release. However, this game still follows the game elements that made its predecessor such a hit. After all, "XCOM: Enemy Unknown" was made as both a remake and a reboot of the 1990s games "X-COM" and "UFO: Enemy Unknown."

Players are given the role of a small guerilla force called XCOM as a part of a worldwide rebellion against the alien invaders. It should be noted that the original game had an opposite premise -- the XCOM was a secret paramilitary organization tasked to stop an alien invasion and the players' role is that of the unseen commander of the organization.

This game will have the $60 standard price with the Deluxe edition selling for $75. As for the game's season pass, it will be priced at $20.
