Xbox One news update: is a 2TB Xbox One making its way out in 2016?

According to various rumors online, Microsoft will finally reveal some new hardware at the E3 2016.

UberGizmo has suggested that it's expected of this company to reveal a slimmer version of the Xbox One regardless of whether or not Microsoft hinted at any updates on it. However, if a slimmer version of the Xbox One won't be released, then it's most probable that a new Xbox One with a configured 2TB internal storage will be released instead. After all, Microsoft launched the 1TB Xbox One console last year, in June, so this rumor is pretty logical, considering that it has been a full year since its release.

As for the new 2TB Xbox One, it's expected of its specs to remain the same, except for the fact that its storage capabilities have been doubled. This is of course good news for players, especially those who make game purchases on a regular basis.

While this remains a rumor up to this point, Gamespot cites a GameStop source that has an updated database that includes the 2TB Xbox One model listing, priced at $449. Furthermore, this entry also features a placeholder release date of Dec. 31, 2016. This could mean that this updated Xbox One console will be released at some point this year.

Microsoft often has no comment when it comes to unreleased products, so they're most likely going to discuss these possible improvements for the Xbox One console at the upcoming Anniversary Update for the Windows 10. Other than the Xbox One, Microsoft might also reveal several streaming devices, which will most likely enter the competitive market dominated by the Google Chromecast. After all, these streaming units are priced below $200, which most people find affordable.

In any case, the E3 2016 has begun, so it's only a matter of time before all rumors are addressed.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
