Xbox One and PS4 bundles: Holiday sales for Sony and Microsoft consoles

Xbox One

The battle between Microsoft and Sony is not going to end anytime soon. Reports say that the Xbox One maker won Black Friday by a landslide with its irresistible promotions and major rollbacks during the year's biggest shopping bonanza. It can be recalled that Sony has also been formidably trouncing its rival company with great offers in the past months but it seems that it only helped Microsoft become more aggressive in equaling and even topping its performance. In turn, the clash will, without the slightest doubt, only get bigger and tighter when the Christmas season officially closes in.

Sony is geared up for the occasion and it has already cooked up a new generous promotion in hopes of blighting its rival for good. This holiday season, gamers in the United States can score a PS4 console and one digital copy of any of the four games Sony offers for only $400. Buyers can choose from the titles "Destiny," "Far Cry 4," "LittleBigPlanet 3" and "NBA 2K15." It still remains unknown whether this offer will go beyond U.S. borders or when it will actually end. But Gamer Headlines believes that users must take advantage of it during the holiday season and before Boxing Day comes, as there will likely be a whole new host of promotions to grace that juncture. A PS4 Bundle that includes a PS4 camera and either "The Last of Us: Remastered" or "Grand Theft Auto V" is also available on Target. This good buy is only on a $400 price tag.

On the other hand, Microsoft still has pretty strong Xbox One promos for the taking. As per Game N Guide, Amazon has put up an Xbox One "Assassin's Creed" Bundle that has a copy of "Assassin's Creed Unity" and "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" onboard as well as a 12-month Gold Membership to Xbox Live. This hefty package is only price at $389. Target offers the "Assassin's Creed" Bundle for $350. That's a $50 discount right there.
