WWE SummerSlam 2016 rumors: fans anticipating Brock Lesnar vs Bray Wyatt, John Cena vs AJ Styles clashes

The WWE SummerSlam is still more than two months away, but fans are already speculating on the highlights of this year's event. Most fans point out that a match between Brock Lesnar and Bray Wyatt could potentially result in a fight of epic proportions; others believe that John Cena will settle his feud with AJ Styles in this event.

However, the most popular among these rumors is on the long-awaited match between Brock Lesnar and Bray Wyatt. After all, a lot of fans have been requesting for these two to have a face-off inside the ring. This is due to the fact that WWE teased a feud between the two wrestlers at the start of the year. A lot of fans believed that the fight will happen at "Wrestlemaina 32," but since that didn't happen, they're hoping that the match between the two will happen by "SummerSlam."

However, Lesnar, a former WWE and UFC champion, hasn't appeared on television ever since Wrestlemania 32, most likely because he's also a part-time superstar. He's going to go back to WWE by July, though, just in time to build a program, according to Yibada.

Another popular rumor is that Cena and Styles will settle their feud in the upcoming "WWE SummerSlam," according to MNR Daily. This rumor started after Cena made a return to "Monday Night RAW" after suffering from a shoulder injury. In this episode, Styles basically betrayed him, with assistance from Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, due to the fact that Styles felt like Cena was insulting him.

If these rumors turn out to be true, this year's WWE SummerSlam will prove to be one of the most interesting and memorable events in WWE history. After all, most wrestling fans can attest that these fights will truly be of epic proportions, regardless of whether it's settling a feud or just seeing a match-up involving their favorite wrestlers.
