'World of Final Fantasy' news: battle system harks back to older 'Final Fantasy' titles

 Square Enix

The "Final Fantasy" franchise will have not just one title this year; aside from "Final Fantasy XV," "World of Final Fantasy" will be released, on Oct. 25, 2016 in North America.

This game will be released for the PS4 and PS Vita consoles, and it features more than 200 characters from the original game, but with a twist: their versions look like they were pulled straight out of the "Animal Crossing" game. It is intended to be a children's game, according to Movie News Guide, but developers are expecting the adult gamer population to embrace the game as well.

One reason for this is that the game is confirmed to have at least a hundred hours worth of gameplay content. As such, with this fact combined with the selection of characters, "World of Final Fantasy" is expected to offer more value to players regardless of the age bracket. After all, a lot of games made for portable devices such as the PS Vita now feature characters made in what the Japanese call "chibi" style. With this, most gamers nowadays don't automatically assume a game's suggested audience based on its appearance.

This game follows the twin siblings, Rain and Lon, as they travel around Grimoire in search for adventure. They will battle, as well as collect and raise monsters from the "Final Fantasy" lore in a traditional-style RPG most players might find nostalgic. The battle system basically involves turn-by-turn combat, the same system used in older "Final Fantasy" games, which sort of makes it similar to "Pokemon".

Another key feature of this game is the "stacking" ability, according to the PC Advisor, which allows the players' characters to adjust their size during combat. This means that they can adjust either their size for them to be able to hop on monsters or adjust the monsters' size to fit them instead.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
