Will a reconciliation between Rollo (Clive Standen) and Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) happen in the second half of History Channel's "Vikings" season 4?

It would seem unlikely that Rollo would return to his home in Kattegat, but there is a possibility, as hinted by Standen.

The actor said, "The time of his life is where he left his Viking gods behind for a long time and it is time to see whether he made the right decision. During the mid-life crisis, he is hedging his best between the two sets of gods. Does he stay loyal to the Christian god?"

Another hint about his flip flopping feelings is a statement that the character made in the teaser video, in which Rollo says that he cannot deny the part of him that is still a Viking.

Aside from a possible reconciliation between the brothers, Ragnar, returning to Kattegat after suffering from defeat, is also expected to apologize to his former wife Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) for past sins, reported IGN.

Meanwhile, as fans were expecting Ragnar to meet his end soon and pass on his legacy to his grown sons, supporters of Fimmel's character may not have their hearts broken as the character is expected to survive this season. According to a report by Parent Herald, Fimmel is still actively filming for the fifth season of the series at around the same time as the San Diego Comic-Con, despite the snake pit of King Aelle's (Ivan Kaye), which historically is where the Viking king will meet his end.

Based on a synopsis released by Spoiler TV, "Ragnar has returned to Kattegat and there are secrets to be revealed. He makes plans to return to Wessex to right past wrongs but finds that those who were once his closest allies now have plans of their own. Even the Lothbrok sons refuse to join their father's mission – except one."

"Vikings" season 4B returns to History Channel on Sunday, Nov. 30.
