Unlock special 'Dragon Ball XenoVerse' characters

 Bandai Namco Games Europe

The ever-increasing popularity of the new "Dragon Ball XenoVerse" game has not been hindered by the different issues these past weeks. Indeed, with the new expansion content related to the upcoming new "Dragon Ball Z" movie, and the different goodies players can loot and receive from the title, the game continues to be on top of gaming charts.

One of the most impressive features of the new "Dragon Ball" game, and also of the entire franchise, is its ensemble. The characters are numerous in number, and the main character Goku is one of the most recognizable figures in anime, manga, and the gaming world.

In the new "DBZ" game title, there are special characters that players can unlock in order to enjoy the game even more.

Bardok and Broly

Bardok is Goku's Saiyan father in the original manga, and he was the first one to encounter Frieza when the villain destroyed the Saiyan planet. Meanwhile, Broly is another Saiyan who escaped the Saiyan planet's destruction at the same time that Goku was sent to Earth.

In order to unlock the two secret characters, players need to take on and complete the Legendary Super Saiyan Saga quests. In order to activate the quests, gamers must earn five Chasm Time Crystal Shards, to be harnessed consecutively.

The first shard can be gained by defeating Demigra. Immediately after Demigra's defeat, talking to Recon back at Toki Toki City will yield the second shard. Meanwhile, the third, fourth, and final shards can be recovered by doing parallel missions: fragment 3 is found after Parallel Mission 49; fragment 4 can be gained in any of missions 14, 18, or 42 that has been completed with a final move; and the final fragment is a reward for a move completed in any of the missions in Parallel Quests 2, 21, or 32.
