Toshiba has made some perky enhancement with its latest offering, something recently unveiled and set to be released in October. Among the new features include a backlit keyboard which should make it easier to use for folks who are in dim-lit places, along with some Skullcandy speakers and an 1080p IPS display to boot.
Toshiba's Chromebook 2 will feature a 13.3-inch full HD display and will bank on an Intel I3 processor for its power needs. To make sure that it doesn't run out of juice, the Chromebook 2 will be aided by a battery that will be good for up to eight and a half hours.
The device's specs also include an on-board dual array microphones, 802.11ac WiFi, USB 3.0, and a USB 2.0 port for backup.
The Chromebook should be good for students or people who simply want a laptop for their web surfing needs as well as using applications on the cloud.
Based on the specs enumerated above, the Chromebook 2 does seem to offer a bit more than plain Internet use but of course, the best thing about it is that it is pretty much decent and affordable to consider buying.
