The Gemini Coven twins Caroline (Candice King) is carrying in her womb will be in danger in the upcoming episode of The CW series "The Vampire Diaries."
In "Cold as Ice," TV.com reports that the blonde vampire who is safeguarding Alaric (Matt Davis) and Jo's (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) children will be struggling with her pregnancy, even though she is trying her best. After Valerie's (guest star Elizabeth Blackmore) revelation that the witches were able to save the coven's last set of twins and that they are now being sheltered inside her womb, Caroline's life has turned upside down.
She could not believe that she's pregnant, as the tests she took came out negative. It turned out the witches did a powerful spell to conceal the babies from prying eyes. This was done to keep them safe until such time that it's safe for them to be born. With her life now intertwined with the Gemini twins, her relationship with Stefan (Paul Wesley) has suffered a hit. Her difficult pregnancy will further aggravate the situation. Will "Steroline" fans still have something to cheer about their favorite vampire couple?
Meanwhile, Stefan and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) have still not given up on their mission to kill Julian (Todd Lasance). After Lily's (Annie Wersching) revelation that her life was linked with that of her vampire lover and any attempt to end his life would mean killing her as well, the two were forced to reconsider their tactics. Their mother disclosed that a powerful spell intertwined her and Julian's lives together, but that does not mean that the Salvatore brothers have given up.
In episode 9, Damon and Stefan will be hunting Julian in a small town bordering Mystic Falls. The synopsis reveals that the younger brother will not be able to hold back any longer and that his actions will result in severe consequences. Will Stefan really end Julian's life, even if it means killing his mother as well?
"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 episode 9 will air on Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
