Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Lucca (Cush Jumbo) will take on a new case involving a unique car accident in the upcoming episode of the CBS series "The Good Wife."

In "Driven," TV Guide reports that the pair will join the lawyers of Lockhart, Agos and Lee and rival firm Canning & Meyers who will face-off once again in episode 7. An employee of an automotive company got crippled while maneuvering a self-driving vehicle. He wants to sue the establishment for what happened to him and he will ask Louis (Michael J. Fox) to prosecute. Meanwhile, the other side will be asking Cary's (Matt Czuchry) team to defend. Who will win in this case?

Elsewhere, Peter (Chris Noth) will decide to move in with Alicia to boost his presidential bid. The candidate wants to impress a prospective campaign sponsor by showing a united front with his family. Last episode, Peter has realized that he stands a good chance of winning the election. To get him the highest position in the country, he would have to convince the voters that he and his wife are doing great. For her part, Alicia has seen how selfish Peter could be, as he was willing to feed her to the sharks so his reputation remained unblemished.

Meanwhile, it appears that Peter is not the only one who has high hopes of winning the poll. When Eli (Alan Cumming) saw that taking down Peter would also mean hurting Alicia, he changed his tactics. He decided to work with Ruth Eastman (Margo Martindale) and support Peter's presidential campaign instead. To make this possible, Hollywood Hills reports that the two will try to ask Courtney (Vanessa Williams) for some assistance. The billionaire businesswoman has the means to catapult Peter's career with her backing, and Eli and Ruth know it. Will they be able to convince her?

"The Good Wife" season 7 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
